What is silvio marzolini?

Silvio Marzolini was an Argentine professional footballer who played as a left-back. Born on February 4, 1940, in Buenos Aires, Marzolini began his football career with local club Huracán in 1958. He then went on to play for Boca Juniors from 1960 until 1972, making 399 appearances and winning numerous domestic and international titles with the club.

Marzolini was renowned for his technical ability, stamina, and leadership on the field. He also represented the Argentina national team in 28 matches, participating in the 1962 and 1966 FIFA World Cups. After his playing career, Marzolini became a coach and managed several teams, including Estudiantes and Boca Juniors.

Marzolini passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 80 after a long illness. He is considered one of the greatest left-backs in Argentine football history.
